Group coaching and cohorts

Run a cohort without the cohort admin. It runs like the rest of your practice.

A group program is a second job: enrolling people, a payment plan for each one, a curriculum to schedule, materials to send out, reminders for everyone. CoachTide carries all of it, so you can put your attention on the room.

Free during the private beta. Beta coaches keep 40% off for life.

What it carries for you

Ten people, one program, and nothing to keep in your head.

The seats, the invoices, the materials and the reminders keep moving while you coach.

The cohort admin, handled

Everything that makes a group more work than one client.

Fill the seats, skip the spreadsheet

Set a seat cap and let a waitlist hold the overflow, in order. Each member you enrol gets their own record and their own private portal, so a full cohort is no more paperwork than one client.

Build the program once

Lay out the sessions, materials, and starter goals and commitments as a reusable program. Run it again for every new cohort without starting over.

Materials that unlock on time

Worksheets and notes open in each member’s portal on the day you set, so there is no week by week emailing of attachments.

A payment plan for every member

Pay in full or in instalments. Each member’s invoices are dated from the day they joined and go out on their dates. If someone leaves, their future invoices are cancelled.

One note to the whole group

Write once and every member sees it in their portal, with an email to let them know. It stays separate from your one-to-one messages.

Sessions, reminders and attendance

Schedule the group sessions, and every enrolled member is reminded before each one. Then mark who came.

What members see

Their own place in the program, not a group chat.

Group coaching on CoachTide is still your practice, not a community platform. Each member has a private portal, opened from a single-use link in their email.

  • The group’s sessions, with the video link
  • Materials as they unlock
  • Your notes to the group, under Updates
  • Their own goals, commitments and invoices
  • A private thread with you, and no one else

ICF hours

Group hours, counted the ICF way.

A completed group coaching session counts once, for its length, however many people were in the room. A workshop is kept out of your coaching hours. Nothing to work out by hand at renewal.

One session, one entry

Ninety minutes with eight members is ninety minutes in your log, next to your one-to-one hours, paid and pro bono kept apart.

How CoachTide tracks ICF hours

Private by design

How this protects your clients

Only you see the roster. A member sees their own record, their group’s sessions, materials and posts, and nothing about who else is enrolled. What each person shares with you stays between the two of you, walled off by the database itself.

Questions

About group coaching

Can members talk to each other?

Not inside CoachTide. There is no member to member feed, and no member can see who else is enrolled. Each person has a private thread with you.

What happens when a seat opens up?

Your waitlist keeps people in the order they joined it. Promote the next person and they are enrolled, with their invoices and portal set up.

Can I run the same program again?

Yes. A program holds the curriculum, materials and starter goals. Start a new cohort from it whenever you like.

How do group sessions count toward ICF hours?

A completed group coaching session counts once, for its length, no matter how many members attended. CoachTide is not ICF-vetted software, and this is not credentialing advice.
