Security is not a feature we added. It is how the database, the sign-in and every email were built from day one, so you can meet your duty to protect client information through the software you choose.

Stored in Canada

Your data is stored in Canada, and CoachTide's application servers run in Canada too. A few specialist services we rely on, like email delivery, card payments and AI help, process the specific information they need in the United States. Every one is listed on our Sub-processors page.

Walled off from every other coach

Each practice is kept apart by the database itself, so a mistake on a screen cannot show your clients to anyone else.

No staff tool into your practice

Our staff have no tool to sign into your account or look inside your practice. When you need help, we work from a shared screen or screenshots you choose to send.

Card numbers never touch us

Clients pay through Stripe or PayPal on your own accounts. You stay the merchant of record, and the keys to those accounts are locked in an encrypted vault.

AI that keeps nothing

The AI help runs with zero data retention and never trains on what you send. Importing a spreadsheet, it reads the column headings, not your clients.

Yours to take, or to delete

Export everything, or one client, whenever you like. Delete your practice and every record and file is gone for good after a 30-day recovery window.

We hold no security certification of our own yet, and no outside firm has tested us yet. Our handling is consistent with PIPEDA and BC PIPA. Found a problem? A person reads every report.

Before you trust us with your practice

Where is my clients' information kept?

Can anyone at CoachTide read my notes?

CoachTide has no tool for our staff to sign into your account or open your notes. When you need help, we work from a shared screen, screenshots, or a Guide conversation you choose to send us.

Does the AI read my clients' records?

No. The in-app Guide answers how-to questions from our help articles, and the importer reads only the shape of your file. Nothing sent to it is kept or used for training.

What if CoachTide is not right for me?

Export your data and leave at any time. Your files stay yours to take with you.
